Mountain Air Lodge

… your home on Mount Hood

March 2nd, 2011

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful place.  We only stayed 2 nights but wish it could have been more.  The hot tub and sauna were great.  We enjoyed the hot tub while it was snowing- which was a treat.  The setting was beautiful and we all had a walk to the river complete with a good old-fashioned snowball fight!  Having spices and condiments was nice in the kitchen although I wish we had known beforehand.  It is the small details that are appreciated– the sweet sign in the kitchen, the wood by the fireplace and the professional cleaning…among others.  Thanks again and we hope to be back!

La Nina

March 2nd, 2011

With the talk of “La Nina” this year we decided a trip back to the cabin was needed after a long term of classes. We got a foot of fresh two days in a row followed by blue skies. Could not have planned a better time to ski. Coming home to the cabin each night was also a great treat with the sauna and hot tub to relax in. We loved our stay and are already planning for next year!

We found Mountain Air Lodge a great getaway for our group of three adults and five kids ages 10 to 18. Our group found plenty to do in this lovely wooded setting, including playing at the riverfront, relaxing in the hammock, shooting baskets in the activities building, soaking in the spa and sweating in the sauna. The barbecue came in handy, too.
There is also much to see and do within a day’s drive from the cabin. The kids especially enjoyed playing in the snow at Mt. Hood in July and hiking to the top of Multnomah Falls.
